A Month in a Week: November In A Nutshell
Written while watching Christmas movies with my mama.
Why yes, yes I have been listening to Christmas music the last couple of weeks and creating a fun playlist on Spotify. Well, at least I think it's fun, and maybe you'll enjoy it too! It's only fitting to have such a playlist as my Christmas book comes out TOMORROW.
Other things I've been listening to on repeat...and that I am obsessed with:
It's here!!!!!!!!!!! Or almost. An Unexpected Christmas is out tomorrow and I'm so freaking excited it is ridiculous. The print version is also available to order if you are all about having a book in your hands AND you can order it today.
Adele James’s favorite time of year has always been Christmas, but this year she’s in no mood for the holiday season. Thanks to her famous A-list actor boyfriend cheating on her! Now that her photo is splashed all over TV, the internet, and tabloids her number one goal is to get away. She heads to her family’s cabin to be alone, but there’s another occupant when she arrives: none other than the frustratingly sexy Jace Kilpatrick… the man she’s been avoiding falling in love with for the past six years.
Jace Kilpatrick has never been the biggest holiday guy, and after three months of the NHL being on lockout, celebrating is low on his priority list. Getting the keys to his best friend’s family cabin was supposed to be about being alone. But those plans are foiled by Adele James who brings the mother of all snowstorms with her.
Adele is gorgeous, funny, and fiery, but she’s also his best friend’s sister, aka, completely off limits. But when the cabin loses power in the middle of the storm, Jace forgets the rules and spends the Christmas days and nights with Adele wrapped in his arms. Once the snow thaws, they’ll call things off, no harm, no foul… if they can agree to keep their hearts out of the equation
Read it Wednesday
The Christmas book reading has commenced. The first one on the list? How the Dukes Stole Christmas which is a historical anthology featuring Sarah MacLean, Tessa Dare, Sophie Jordan, and Joanna Shupe. I'm on the third story and I've loved absolutely every moment of it. EVERY MOMENT. I'm wondering where I can find a Duke for Christmas. Any ideas?
After that, I will be diving in to Rachel Lacey's My Gift Is You. Buy it HERE.
Then it will be Jessica Lemmon's A Christmas Proposition. Buy it HERE.
Next up, Dance All Night by Alexis Daria. Buy it HERE.
And last, but certainly not least, Christmas on Mistletoe Lane by Annie Rains. Buy it HERE.

I'm going to use this month's Throwback Thursday for my very established favorite Christmas movies: Love Actually, The Holiday, Elf, Home Alone 1 & 2, The Family Stone, WhileYou Were Sleeping, annnnnnnd It's A Wonderful Life?
I make my family watch it with me EVERY Christmas Eve. Dear Jimmy Stewart, how I love you.
I'm going to be giving away an eBook copy of ANY of the Christmas books I mentioned above to THREE winners (your choice of which book). What do you have to do to win? Just let me know your favorite Christmas book, movie, or song. Winners will be announced on Friday.
You can tell me on any of the following posts, or all three! More chances to win. :-)
I still haven't seen Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, which is massively disappointing. Hopefully I will change that this month. Other movies I'm looking forward to are Disney's The Nutcracker and the Four Realms, Instant Family, Mary Poppins Returns, On the Basis of Sex,and Aquaman. I'm not sure how many of these I will see in theaters, but my effort will be valiant.
Small Screen Sunday
This is going to be all about, you guessed it, CHRISTMAS MOVIES. The cheesier the better. If you follow me on Twitter you might've seen me and a few other ah-mazing authors talking about the Christmas Princemovies on Netflix with our #ChristmasFlixAndChill live Tweeting event. I've also watched Christmas With A View, and Christmas Wedding Planner(enjoyed every incredibly cheesy moment of it, and Joey Fatone was my favorite part).
Other movies I haven't watched but that are on my list: The Princess Switch, The Holiday Calendar, and The Christmas Chronicles. Any other suggestions?
ALSO, if you want to participate in Christmas Flix And Chill, we will be watching The Holiday Calendar (which can be found on Netflix) next Sunday (December 9th) at 8:00 pm EST. If you want to join in on the Twitter discussion, we'd love to have you! Just use #ChristmasFlixAndChill #TheHolidayCalendar.
And that's it for a Month in a Week. I'd love to hear from you on Social Media. So stop by and let me know what you're reading, watching, and listening to.
Again, thanks for signing up and I'll see you around!
